Join us for the League’s New Basics of Budgeting Workshop

July 25, 2023  9am-11:30am 

 Presenters will cover the following topics:  

• Setting up a Capital Improvement Plan (Benefits and Challenges):    The presentation will provide information on the WHY (benefits) and how to set up a Capital Improvement Plan. Starting with the WHY, and then working through creating a CIP (using a sample CIP Spreadsheet that you can populate during the presentation).
• Using Forecasting and Data to inform policy, budget, risk, and financial discussions:    This presentation will provide an understanding of various data resources and how to use them as tools for informing and solving public administration problems.

Who should attend?  Clerks, administrators, and other municipal budget coordinators as well as elected officials.
